About Me
I believe that every person has a meaningful, driving factor within that can fuel them to live their best lives. I found myself through fitness in 2022, as over the years prior I had lost 80 pounds through poor diet. I learned the number on the scale didn’t matter- I felt physically my worst. I wasn’t happy with the woman in the mirror.
I worked in the fashion industry for years, ending up with a wonderful job in custom Italian suiting. I met my first personal trainer, who introduced me to strength training and nutrition. I was finally able to make enough money to make trips out west and car camp solo. I also discovered my courage and strength in my nights alone, and the nights I trained for my trips prior. After falling in love with Joshua Tree, California, I had a realization that I wasn’t truly fulfilled in my career. I came back home, quit my job on a whim, and searched for my first fitness job. After two difficult months, I had the opportunity to become a personal training fitness director.
I found my passion for being a trainer becoming stronger with each client I met. So many stories and workouts changed my perspective on fitness even further. I fell in love with the older community, who dealt with many struggles in injuries. I struggled with the dirty side of fitness training- the corporate side of the business which lacked personal connection. I decided to start my ISSA certification specializing in Corrective Exercise and start my own business. I learned if you could help injuries through muscle growth, you could train any client. I ended up with a job in children’s fitness as a coach and manager- where I fell in love further with training youth as well.
Weight loss, corrective exercise, and functional training became my entire life. I enjoy being outdoors, and using my training to translate into real-life activities. My desire to help others started a long time ago, when I realized I needed help to have courage in the gym. I had no idea what I was doing. I want to help those who need that extra help like I always did. Training others pushes my own self to the fullest- and I cannot wait to learn your story.
